"DANCE" Collection
This collection was created for the collective show of Association of Artists of Figurative Arts of Northern Greece, in Art gallery of Macedonian Studies Company, State Theater of Thessaloniki, 2006, but 10 years later I continue to work with this pretty dancing forms. My main conceptual concern in working with this dancing sculptures today doesn't stem from a fascination with the construction and problem-solving process. Nor is it just the beauty, the movement, sensuality of the figure. What continues to absorb me is how, by rendering the physical body, one can convey, or at least suggest, a remarkable array of nonphysical, internal, ephemeral, spiritual, emotional, or psychological experiences!
